GUYUP RUPA #6 | "HISTOMORIES"

GUYUB RUPA adalah sebuah pameran seni rupa tingkat mahasiswa yang dipelopori oleh mahasiswa Seni Rupa, Universitas Negeri Semarang. Tahun ini adalah tahun ke-6 bagi Guyub rupa itu sendiri, kali ini Guyub rupa #6 sedikit berbeda dengan sebelumnya. Guyub rupa #6 yang akan diselenggarakan di bulan September, 2016 merupakan salah satu rangkaian dalam event paralel Biennale Jawa Tengah yang pertama kalinya diadakan di Jateng itu sendiri. Semarang yang terpilih sebagai tuan rumah penyelenggara, maka daerah Kota Lama, Semarang akan dipilih untuk menjadi pusat kegiatan guyub rupa #6 maupun Biennale Jawa Tengah.

“HISTOMORIES”

HISTOMORIES adalah gabungan dai dua kata. HISTORY dan MEMORIES. History berasal dari bahasa inggris yang berarti sejarah. Memories juga berasal dari bahasa inggris yang berarti ingatan tentang satu peristiwa, kejadian atau ingatan yang pernah terjadi atau sudah terjadi pada kurun waktu yang telah lalu (lampau), telah terjadi. HISTOMORIES adalah ingatan atau kenangan akan suatu peristiwa  yang pernah terjadi di masa lalu dan menjadi sejarah, baik yang tercatat ataupun belum tercatat.
Konsep histomories ini mengambil pijakan tentang sejarah yang berkaitan dengan berbagai hal. Sejarah yang berkaitan dengan fisik (gedung, situs, ruang/artefak)  dan sejarah yang berkaitan tentang individu-individu yang berhasil mencatatkan diri dalam memori kolektif masyarakat/negara (sosok pahlawan, seniman, pemberontak dll). Dari tema histomories ini diharapkan akan menginspirasi tiap individu-individu yang terlibat dalam pameran ini untuk merespon dalam berbagai wujud karya baik karya 3 dimensi maupun 2 dimensi.
Sumber-sumber sejarah dan memory ini banyak tersebar diwilayah jawa tengah. Banyak hal yang bisa digali dan diserap sebagai bahan  untuk diwujudkan dalam karya senirupa. Dari kajian dan serapan akan sejarah diharapkan akan menjadi satu pijakan untuk melangkah kedepan menuju kearah yang lebih baik. Sebagai  bahan kritikan, paparan atau tolak ukur untuk kemajuan dimasa depan. Dengan visual karya senirupa yang menarik, cerdas dan unik diharapkan masyarakat akan dapat melihat perkembangan seni, budaya dan pemikiran para seniman-seniman muda dalam merespon tema HISTOMORIES.

COMING SOON ART | JOG | 9 YOGYAKARTA - INDONESIA

ART | JOG | 9 will again present on May 27 - June 27, 2016.

ART | JOG is a contemporary art exhibition that has lasted for 9 years. ART | JOG well as a locomotive of the development of art in Indonesia and Asia. Increased creative economy makes ART | JOG become one of the new tourist destination in Yogyakarta. This year, ART | JOG will showcase the work of 74 artists, both from Indonesia and abroad. To support the dynamic of art in Yogyakarta, this year ART | JOG will be held at the Jogja National Museum (JNM).

Quoted from Bambang 'Toko' Witjaksono, this year ART | JOG as an annual art event will enter the age of nine. Nine is the number especially in basic numerology which symbolizes the highest achievement. Nine is also often associated with thinkers and artists were inspired by the famous universal truth, the ultimate truth that is valid at any time and location. This understanding inspires ART | JOG | 9 to denote it through the Nine lighthouse light.

Lighthouse is a symbol of universal effect created by the artist through artistic performances. Artists and the best works will affect the world around them through various perspectives.

The work of art is an expression of self, an attempt to drain the universal influence on the world as a beacon into lights and direction.

ART | JOG | 9 is a statement of self through the work space and good performater an embodiment of the creation of universal influence to be conveyed by each artist.

This year, ART | JOG | 9 will not be held at Taman Budaya Yogyakarta as in previous years, but will take place at the Jogja National Museum (Jl. Prof. Ki Amri Yahya No. 1, Wirobrajan). Why? ART | JOG | 9 has a desire to further lift the Jogja National Museum (JNM) as one of the icon art venues in Yogyakarta. This is in line with management's commitment JNM giving great attention to the preservation and development of cultural arts. With the ongoing ART | JOG | 9 in JNM, art and culture are expected to not only thrive in the local and national level, but also at the international level.

This year, ART | JOG | 9 implementing a new system for all transactions during the exhibition. All transactions, both for entrance tickets, purchase merchandise, and also food truck will use Mandiri E-money card or E-cash Mandiri.

TERMS OF PARTICIPANTS
Participants are citizen SMA / MA / SMK and equal from within and outside the country who graduated in 2016.
Each participant who signed up choosing one of the competition categories: Writing Popular Science, Graphic Design or Digital Applications Research / work requested is the work of individuals who have not been included in the same race.
Participants are to register by filling out the form via the website Pertamina Upload Scan ID (KTS) and a photo of yourself in JPG / JPEG (* .jpg) with a maximum size of 180x240 pixels (portrait) and a maximum capacity of 70kb.
Participants have to follow the social media accounts of PT Pertamina (Persero) and the University of Pertamina.

CONDITIONS LONBA
Popular writing contest participant may only submit one article to the length of each article 6000-8000 characters including spaces. Articles in popular form (rather than academic reports, thesis, papers, journals, and the like). File typed on A4 paper format 4-4-3-2 margin (top-bottom-left-right) Times New Roman font size 12.
Competitors graphic design may only submit one work (posters, advertisements, business processes, product marketing, etc.) colored instead of BW in JPEG or PDF files up to 5 MB. Resulisi size 1748x2480 pixels with 300 pixels / inch. Participants include the posts of 2,000 characters to describe the basis, purpose, and meaning of design.
Participants research a digital application to upload a screenshot of his work and link applications that have been uploaded to Google Drive or Dropbox.
Selection Team chose 100 works that deserve to be uploaded on the website Pertamina.
A total of 10 works of the nominees from each category selected by the most votes.
Jury has the prerogative to choose the five articles that became the nomination despite not getting a significant vote.
A total of 15 works with the most votes and the election results Jury invited for an interview in front of the jury (Nominee of Jabodetabek will direct / outside Jabodetabek via teleconference).
Research participants in the category Digital Applications are required to present their work / its prototype. Jury will determine the five best works.
Participants are invited to a live interview / teleconference are required to submit a copy of the report cards grade 10 to grade 12.
The committee reserves the right to replace the nominees if there are participants who resigned.
Jury set five best works for each category winner.
A total of 15 participants with the best work will receive a prize of a scholarship from Pertamina to the terms and conditions specified company / university.
Articles / graphic design / digital applications submitted become the property of PT Pertamina (Persero) and the University of Pertamina, including but not limited to the right to publish such works without permission of the participants. Copyright remains the participants as a writer / designer / developer.
The organizers decision is final.

Words creative and innovative in our ears is very familiar, but many of us who do not know the meaning of creative and innovative.
Now I will give an explanation of the meaning of creative and innovative sense.

CREATIVE "Creativity is an ability to solve problems that individual member the opportunity to create original IDE2 / adaptive function in full usefulness to thrive" (Widyatun, 1999).

"Creativity is the ability to think or perform any act aimed at finding solutions to a condition or problem intelligently, different (out of the box), it is not common, original, and bring the right results and helpful" (inginhilangingatan, 2009).

INNOVATIVE "Innovative Enterprises that utilize a person with thoughts, the ability of imagination, various stimulants, and people who surrounded him in generating new products, either for itself or its environment." "Innovative namely the ability of a person to utilize the capabilities and expertise to produce new work."
"Innovative thinking is thinking process that generates ideas and solutions beyond the frame conservative."
